Social running in Malmö

Social running is about making running a community activity rather than a solitary sport. At MRC Malmö we always run as a group, we wait for each other and always finish together. The social part afterwards is just as important as the run itself – here you'll find friends for life.

We usually have three groups: "Ghost vision style" around 5:45/km, a mid-level group around 6:00/km, and "Malmö i love you" at around 6:30/km or an adapted pace. All groups are welcoming and inclusive.

All running with MRC Malmö is completely free. There are no membership fees and no hidden costs. The only thing you pay for is your own drink afterwards if you stay and socialize.

No, absolutely not. The drink afterwards is entirely your own choice – beer, non-alcoholic, water or whatever you prefer. What matters is the community and sticking around to socialize.

The first Saturday of every month we head to Warpigs in Copenhagen and run with the mother club. There are 6–7 different groups with various distances and paces. Bonus: the first beer is always free in Copenhagen!

It means you choose a group and we maintain that group's pace together – no one gets left behind. If the 6:30/km group feels too fast, we recommend trying Malmö Gerillalöpare on Tuesdays, where they have a group at 7:00/km pace. We want everyone to find their right level and have fun.
